GMMA-Guppy Multiple Moving Averages Amibroker AFL

Guppy Multiple Moving Averages is one of the best simple indicator to find out the strength of the trend. Renowned Trader Daryl Guppy has advised to plot two sets of moving averages on the chart and view their relationship to assess the strength of the trend. These two sets of moving averages are segregated into fast moving averages and slow-moving averages. When the fast moving averages are above the slow-moving averages and clearly far apart from each other then the trend is strongly bullish. Same is the case in bearish scenario when the fast moving averages are below the slow-moving averages and far apart then the trend is strongly bearish. When the fast and slow moving averages are intermingling with each other then the trend is in a sideways mode. Therefore the GMMA the acronym for Guppy multiple moving averages prove to be a very good indicator when it comes to analyse the strength of the trend.
